Hello! Sorry I’m not so great at keeping up with posts lately! We’ve got a lot going on lately… I did take this fall semester off of school but started homeschooling my 5 and 3 year olds (which is going great but time consuming!), and throwing a 6 month old into that mix is quite time consuming as well! Nutrition During Pregnancy (in detail)!

I started my new class this week, Nutrition Through the Life Cycle. And naturally it starts with nutrition during pregnancy. So although I have already posted some information about this, there was some more great information I read that I would like to share! 35 Weeks! So Close to the End!

Hello! So, I am 35 weeks now… so very close to the end (I need to put up a new belly picture)! I feel that I have done pretty good as far as staying healthy and in shape this pregnancy… although I thought all the exercising would help with the end of pregnancy body pains, but it hasn’t really 😦 . I guess there isn’t much you can do to help with the pain of a 6-7 lb baby putting pressure on your pelvic bone. Its all worth it though :). Anyway, as far as an update I have been moving along smoothly. I exercised 4 times this week (about an hour each time) and ate the standard balanced meals I have been eating all along. Gaining weight consistently, feeling great for the most part! I guess the real test as to whether or not I have done a good job staying in shape will come post baby. RDA During Pregnancy

So, after my previous post I was thinking I don’t know that I have ever posted information about what the recommended dietary allowance of nutrients for a pregnant lady are. Also including the Tolerable Upper Intake Levels (UL), the highest amount that can be tolerated without doing harm, so you don’t go over board on any vitamins or minerals.
