This Week was a Stinker

So, the beginning of this week started out great! I got my new Nike Lunar Forevers… and I LOVE them! Look for a pic of me wearing them in the progressive belly pic post I will put up in the next couple days 🙂 Anyway, I started this week by going running with my family 2 times and doing a couple great workouts via Pop Pilates on youtube! But then, Wednesday I got sick! 😦 And I have been feeling really up and down since then so, basically if I don’t feel better by tomorrow and get a workout in tomorrow.. I won’t have hit my goal of at least working out 3 times a week! I did go for a walk with my family on Thursday but… it was only around the block, so I don’t think that really counts! Vegan Pumpkin Bread.. Super Delish!!!

Since fall has officially started… although AZ hasn’t quite gotten the memo yet (at least temps are starting to drop below 100!). Anyway… one of my ALL TIME favorite things to eat is Pumpkin bread!!! So, now that fall is here, its time to break out the most amazing pumpkin bread recipe I have ever had the pleasure of gracing my taste buds with! My Doc Appt!

I just realized that I never put an update after I had my first doctor appointment! Whoops… pregnancy brain! Anyway, I had my first appointment a couple weeks ago (during my short hiatus), and it went really well! I love my new doctors office (although I am very sad to leave my old one!), but Dr Donnelly (my new dr) is awesome! I love her already! She has the same birth philosophy as I do.. which is to go as far as possible in labor without drugs but have them available if needed (or wanted). Read the rest of this entry »

Super Easy and Delicious Granola Bites

 

So, being a mom (and a preggo one at that)… I am always looking for delicious, nutritious and easy to make snack ideas. A few months back I came across this recipe for granola bites.
